Terms of Use
How site materials may be used, compliance requirements, and limits of liability.
These terms apply when you visit Clash Open · Client Downloads, read its guides, or access client downloads through the site. Please read them before using any materials. Third-party software and services may have separate terms, which you should review as well.
1. About This Site and Its Materials
This site collects download links, installation instructions, and configuration guides for Clash ecosystem clients for educational and informational purposes only. It is not affiliated with the developers of the open-source projects featured here. Project names, descriptions, and links on this site do not imply authorization, endorsement, or guarantees from their respective owners.
Tutorial examples explain configuration fields and workflows; they are not deployment instructions for every device, network, or business environment. Before following them, check your client, core, and operating system. This site does not provide proxy nodes or guarantee the quality of subscriptions or third-party network services.
2. Legal Compliance and Your Responsibilities
You must comply with the laws and regulations where you are located and in any region affected by your use, as well as the policies of network operators, device administrators, and your organization. Do not use the software or site materials for unlawful purposes, including unauthorized system access, data theft, distributing illegal content, disrupting network operations, or infringing others’ rights.
Before changing proxy, DNS, routing, or virtual network adapter settings on a workplace, school, or other managed network, obtain any required permission. You are responsible for determining whether your use is lawful and authorized, and for your configuration, access, and distribution activities. Being technically able to perform an action does not mean you have legal or administrative authorization.
3. Third-Party Software and Services
Software is provided by the relevant open-source projects or their distributors. Refer to each project’s documentation for its features, maintenance status, compatibility, and licensing terms. Collecting download links does not make this site the software developer or service provider. External websites, app stores, and subscription services are operated by their respective providers.
We make reasonable efforts to keep site materials accurate, but project updates, system limitations, and changes in network conditions may make instructions outdated or links unavailable. We do not guarantee the continued availability of software or third-party services, or their suitability for any particular purpose. For disputes involving purchases, accounts, subscriptions, or services, refer to the relevant provider’s terms.
4. Configuration Risks and Disclaimer
Changing proxy ports, DNS, TUN, or routing settings may affect existing connections, local network access, and other apps. Back up your configuration and essential data, note your original settings, and make sure you can restore them before proceeding. Example domains, addresses, and parameters must be assessed for your environment and should not be used in production without review.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for service interruptions, data loss, business losses, or other damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software, materials, or third-party services. Keep subscription links and access credentials secure, and remove sensitive information before sharing logs or configurations. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
5. Intellectual Property and Open-Source Licenses
Project names, trademarks, icons, software code, and related documentation belong to their respective rights holders. The use, modification, and redistribution of open-source software are governed by the applicable licenses. Open source does not waive requirements such as attribution, copyright notices, license copies, or providing source code where required.
Before redistributing software or modified versions, check the license requirements for the version and its dependencies. When quoting original explanations from this site, credit the source; do not present curated site materials as official project statements. Descriptive references to project names and marks do not change who owns them.
6. Changes to These Terms and Help
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to site content, projects, or legal requirements. Revisions will be posted on this page, and the month shown at the top will be updated. Check the current terms before using site materials again. If you disagree, stop using the relevant materials or links. Any legally required effective dates or notices will apply.
For installation, subscription imports, and common configuration issues, start with the user guide. For platform permissions, restoring system proxy settings, and differences between operating environments, consult the cross-platform guide. Site guidance does not replace a software project’s license or constitute legal advice.
